NEW YORK â ABC is planning a spinoff of its fairytale drama âOnce Upon a Timeâ for next season as well as an action-adventure series based on the Marvel Comics universe. That show, âS.H.I.E.L.D.,â comes from hit-maker Joss Whedon.
Hm…. more you know! I guess it sort of makes sense and all. But Joss Whedon is coming out of the woodworks again. Not a bad move at all ABC Network. I guess Disney figures make as much as they can off the superhero craze now that they’ve successfully resurrected old classic novels (Count of Monte Cristo) and many times over retold fairy tales.
I must say to date I’ve been pleasantly pleased with both aforementioned shows. Even their new dramas aren’t so bad. Perhaps because of shows like Revenge making a great splash Shonda Rhimes has been forced to up her game, because I didn’t know she had mystery and intrigue in here seeing ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ and ‘Private Practice’. It’ll be interesting to see Joss Whedon added to the mix. With a show revolving around S.H.I.E.L.D., just in time to maintain and increase interest in an Avengers 2, Whedon should have a ton of fun!
Speaking of superheros, fairy tales, princesses, and villains… should see what ever happened to Angelina Jolie’s appearance as a one Maleficent…
So… watching the recent episode of Scandal, Season 2 episode “Any Questions?” and the introduction title cards for cast got me. My brother has always mentioned how much he thinks it sucks that shows do that. I’m starting to realize what his problem was.
It was not the way I would have liked to realize that JOHN FUCKIN’ GORGEOUS BARROWMAN has worked his way into this show.
Man…. I love me some Kerry, however I don’t think that she can take him. Milly may hang in there longer than I think. Or OH GODS.. o.O what if they plan to kill Barrowman.
Poor, poor Klainers. Giving you the glimmer of hope and taunting you each and every turn. The bread and butter of Glee I swear.
